Top 5 Film & Television Android Apps in Romania: Q2 2022 Performance

During the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 film and television applications on the Android platform in Romania showed varied performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower provides insight into weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these apps.

HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies saw fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $9.7K in mid-April and ending the quarter at around $6K. Downloads experienced a significant drop from 40.4K in late March to around 10.1K by the end of June. Active users also showed a slight decline from 77.1K to 65.1K over the same period.

Disney+ had a notable increase in weekly revenue in mid-June, reaching around $100.6K, but decreased to approximately $47.8K by the end of the month. Downloads surged from zero in early June to 82.5K by the end of the month. Active users also grew significantly, from 46.9K to 157.3K within the same timeframe.

Netflix maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 10.7K in late March and ending at 9.2K in late June. Active users saw an upward trend, beginning at 677.9K and peaking at 761K in late April before stabilizing around 710.9K by the end of June.
